  This is the company that Network Housing Group outsource its repairs to. I have lived in a property that they service for 3 years and it has been a nightmare. There is no continuity of care regarding maintenance and they seem to have a high turnover of employees. Of the 15 or so MCP workers I have dealt with, only 2 or 3 have been good. I had a very young apprentice remove a high powered kitchen fan and replace it with an inline fan; he told me he was not a carpenter and left a gapping big hole in the kitchen and bathroom; thus, my flat was invaded by rodents rats and mice and it took them three weeks to fix the repair. Most recently, I have had an electrician come twice to assess my boiler because I have complained that I cannot get hot water in the afternoon and the evening; despite explaining the problem; he has turned up in the morning and at noon, on both occassions, respectively, and told me that the hot water is working; when I tried to explain to him that this was because I dont get hot water in the evening and afternoons, he did not seem to understand the problem. After failing to explain the problem, I had a NHG surveyor visit my place and he told me that I needed a timer and the boiler had to be activated for three hours to be effective and provide enough hot water for a day. It just seems that MCP staff don't understand the big picture or have experience of issues with specific buildings. Some staff are good; Again, I have complained about the tilt and turn windows; I have had an MCP worker show me how to shut the windows and open them; yet I have had a NHG surveyor tell me that my windows were excessively drafty because there are horizontal black air vents that were open for the three years I have been living here. The overall problem is that the windows are single glazed and should be double glazed; MCP dont seem to have the authority to escalate repairs, as they are contracted to do the minimum and save costs.

  Worked here for many years and was ruined by the halfwit son that took over who was only focused on making money and enemies in equal measure, they treat the office staff like scum and talk to them in a way that has made grown women and men cry. They are obsessed with promoting staff with no experience to manangment level so long as they have a long enough tongue to reach inside mat , anyone who disagrees with him or has a opinion will be sent down the road, only yes men need apply! It really is the most unorganised sorry excuse for a matinence company in the U.K. , they have got so big, with such a high turnover of staff they can't deliver on even the simplest of tasks... Avoid working here, and if you want work done use local talent not these muppets
